 PUMPHOUSE BITTER/TOPPESFIELD TAP (3.6% ABV)

ALLIED AMBER (3.8% ABV)

Created to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day. It is a smooth, easy drinking traditional bitter, made with chocolate, pale and wheat malts and WGV hops. Amber in colour and with malty and biscuit flavours.

PUMPHOUSE GOLD (4.2% ABV)

Pumphouse Gold (4.2% ABV)

Blending English Maris Otter pale malt, lightly kilned Munich malt from Germany, and a generous helping of UK-grown Cascade hops, this deep golden beer boasts biscuit-like maltiness, offset by the rounded citrus/lychee aromas and a lingering bitter finish.

 PUMPHOUSE BLACK (4.0% ABV)

Pumphouse Black (4.0% ABV)

Black is the new blonde for winter! Surprisingly easy to drink, this stout combines roasted barley and chocolate malt to create complex flavours, ranging from smooth and smoky to black and toasty, with a subtle but distinct bitterness.

PUMPHOUSE PALE OKTOBER (3.8% ABV)

Pumphouse Pale Oktober (3.8% ABV)

Originally brewed for the Oktoberfest in 2016, this pale golden ale is brewed from a combination of English pale malts and Munich malt to give a light and crisp base that highlights the distinct citrus and tropical fruit notes coming from US Chinook and Cascade hop varieties.

ST MARGARET’S ALE (3.8% ABV)

St Margaret’s Ale (3.8% ABV)

First produced in autumn 2017, this light-coloured ale is based on lager malt with some wheat. Bobek is the single hop used to make this light and refreshing beer.

THE 9TH’S HAVOCS (4.3% ABV)

The 9th’s Havocs (4.3% ABV)

Named for the US Air Force’s A-20 aircraft, which was based at nearby Wethersfield in 1944, this is a refreshing and hoppy American-style Pale Ale. The high level of US Cascade hops in the brew gives the beer a fresh, long-lasting grapefruit flavour.

19 ELMS (4.3% ABV)

19 Elms (4.3% ABV)

This dark amber ale has been brewed especially to mark the planting of 19 elm trees in Toppesfield, in memory of the 19 young men of the village who gave their lives during World War I.

Seasonal and One-off Beers

Additionally, we produce an array of seasonal and one-off beers. These range from the light Spring Ale, available from April to June, to Paula’s Pride, a warming 4.5% ABV darker ale for the winter months. For more details about what’s going on at our brewery, follow our Facebook page.
